Social Responsability
We base our corporate culture and the development of our projects on two principles: respect for people and respect for the environment. We work hard to make sure these principles are not just words on paper, but actions that make a difference.
Qualta Resorts has a deep concern for anyone affected by our actions, including our clients, suppliers, employees, government officials and the local community. Our goals therefore include developing properties that meet or exceed our clients’ current and future needs; negotiating and dealing with our suppliers in a fair manner; creating a challenging and rewarding working environment for our employees; treating the authorities and government officials interacting with us with respect and the highest ethical standards. Qualta Resorts also believes that we have a responsibility to contribute to the existing local communities and for this we specifically set up the Instituto Qualta.
Instituto Qualta is dedicated to the conservation of nature whilst providing employment, education and economic support to the local population. Instituto Qualta´s activities are already beginning to generate valuable jobs for the local community and are effectively transforming what was once an agricultural employment platform into one fit for tourism.
Qualta Resorts is conscious that our developments can have an impact on the environment and so we are committed to reducing and compensating for this. We plan projects that allow for proper care of water and waste, and we include renewable energy and low-energy consumption equipment so that carbon emissions are kept to a minimum. Sustainable materials are used wherever possible and Qualta Resorts does not cut down forest or mangroves.
